The Whisky and Gin Collection is from the Highlands of Scotland
The whisky collection is made from whisky barrel staves from the East Coast of Scotland and has a distinctive aroma.Each item uses a whisky stave and it takes many staves to construct a whisky barrel. Due to their great age a barrel sometimes needs repair and this is when the barrel staves are replaced and have come to the end of there lives with regards to barrels.
The Gin collection consists of Glencairn Tulip glasses with a small shaped bowl for your favourite fruit to accompany your drink and a shaped sculptured pice of scottsih hard wood
I use discarded staves and give them a new lease of life I have utilised them as you can see here to make many various practical gifts. What a marvelous way to recycle and you can even smell the aroma of the whisky .
